NINTH MISSION: STORYBOARD

This mission is very interesting for a lot of reasons. Firstly, I worked with my classmates in order to create a digital and educational video and secondly, we changed our current classroom and we did a trip to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. This project has help us to collaborate in groups in order to create an amazing digital resource. 

The project needed time to arrange it, so there were three principal steps across the whole process to get the final video:

1.Planning a storyboard 
2.Record the video in the Ministry of Education
3.Edit video

I explain each step in detail, just keep reading !

1. PLANNING A STORYBOARD 

-What is a storyboard?

Storyboards are the blueprints of a digital story. A storyboard consists of drawings and notes in frames. Each frame represents a scene in the video story. Some storyboards are basic, only consisting of empty frames. Other storyboards require more details such as having learners outline the music, characters, dialogue, sounds, narration, transitions, script, lighting, special effects, and scenery.

-What is in our storyboard?

Title: The importance of women across the history

Purpose of the video: The students work a wide range of topics from different

subjects (history, natural science, arts, music and language) through the movie

which is about the importance of women across the history. They will see the role

of different women in our society in different historical period and from different

areas (scientific, writer, painter, singer, queen, politician and among others).

Goals of the video: 
 -To be aware of the gender equality
 -To work democratic values 
 -To learn contents about science, arts and history
 -To work in groups

In my opinion, using storyboards with our students only has benefits, they will work in cooperation with their classmates filling an storyboard and creating something new. 

We will see the second and third steps in my last post! Excited???
